The Vision 2020 Capital and Stewardship Appeal is underway! For the past three years, members and leaders of NYAPC have been exploring the best ways to upgrade and renovate our 65-year old church building so that it can meet the needs of existing ministries as well as our vision for the future. During this process, members urged the Trustees to begin making immediate necessary repairs, but also to move beyond maintenance by thinking big about the future. In response, we are addressing the most urgent, critical needs while developing a more comprehensive plan, which could cost $6.3 – $8.5 million.
The church building is in and of itself a mission, but the reason for the church building is what happens inside, which is funded through our Annual Stewardship Giving. The Capital Appeal and the 2016 Stewardship Appeal are a combined effort, with Stewardship being the first priority.
We are very excited to lead this effort! This building is a living tribute to the faith and the vision of all the saints who have gone before us – a place of respite, restoration, learning, even redemption – and we ask that you prayerfully consider what NYAPC and its missions mean to you as you review the below informational materials. Please contact any Capital Appeal team member with questions or e-mail David & Amy Gillies, Capital Appeal Co-Chairs, at email@example.com. You can also use the below link to make a pledge.
