Special Worship Service and Congregational Meeting
Sunday, September 26 at 3pm

Join us this Sunday at 3pm for a special worship service to introduce the new senior pastor candidate. The Service will be both in person at Westminster Presbyterian Church and on Zoom. Following the service, we will hold a congregational meeting to vote on her candidacy and host an outdoor reception. We will also have a soft launch of our Stewardship and Capital Campaigns. Please note that there will be NO MORNING SERVICE that day.

Masks will be required for everyone, regardless of vaccination status, and we will refrain from congregational singing and communion for everyone’s health and safety. For planning purposes, please let us know if you plan to join by filling out this form. Registration is not required but having a headcount will help us prepare! For questions or carpool arrangements, please email

Dr. Hayhoe's book available

The next McClendon Scholar Program will be a webinar on October 26th that will feature Dr. Katherine Hayhoe, a prominent climate scientist who is also an evangelical Christian.  Dr. Hayhoe has a new book called “Saving Us: A Climate Scientists Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World” which we encourage NYAPC members to read before she speaks to us. Copies of this book are available after the service in the back of the sanctuary for a suggested donation of $10.

Women’s March Hospitality

The church will be open to provide restrooms, snacks, and water, but we can’t do it without volunteers. Click here for donations or to sign up. If you have any questions, reach out to Gina Kim or Hillary Webster.

Our Building and its Stories
Saturday, Oct. 2, 4 pm

If our building could talk, it would have many stories to tell. Over our history, it has served many purposes beyond worship and congregational life. Join members of the History Committee to discover and talk about our building's stories, and how our continued presence on New York Avenue might continue to serve our mission in the future.
