If you are looking for small group fellowship, we have a variety of options for you, from contemplative prayer, young adults, and bible study groups, to a youth group and parents’ groups. Some groups are long-term, others meet for a shorter period of time. For more information, email email@example.com. In the meantime, here are some ongoing ways you can get connected with others right away:
Adult Sunday School Classes – Meet Sundays between worship services and at 9:00 am on one-service Sundays. Details in weekly bulletin and on the home page of this website.
Committee Service – A variety of committees work together on projects for the church. It is a great way to get involved and to get to know other members and friends. For information, contact our Clerk of Session, Miriam Dewhurst, 703-560-0871, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dinners for Nine – Meet with a different group of nine every two months for a potluck dinner at a member’s home. Contact Miriam Dewhurst, 703-560-0871, email@example.com.
First Sunday FaithTalk – These are “come as you are” discussions in members’ homes. All you need to bring is an interest in faith and $10 for a take out dinner. For details on location or to add your name to the FaithTalk email list, contact Meg House, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Gathered for Prayer – An open group that gathers each Sunday, 10:20 – 11 am, in the Lincoln Chapel, to pray for one another, for the people on the prayer/care list, for the church and the world. All questions, joys and concerns are welcome. Come anytime.
Mission Groups – Members and nonmembers interact and support each other as they engage in missions, including Community Club, 7-2-9, Radcliffe Room and more. See the Volunteer Section of our website.
Parents’ Group – Meets Sundays at 10:00 am for an informal time of conversation.
Presbyterian Women’s Circle – Meets monthly at members’ homes for a pastor-led Bible study and fellowship. Contact Barbara Dornan, 202-414-7999, email@example.com.
