Scholarships from the Fund are designated to assist academically able, but economically disadvantaged, women who wish to study for professional careers. Deadline for receipt of application: April 24, 2015. Award notification date: July 31, 2015.
Qualifications required: 1) Evidence of financial need; 2) Academic ability as evidenced by grade point average (at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale) and other indicators of academic promise; 3) Intent to pursue a program of studies leading to a professional or para-professional career (part time students will be considered); and 4) Admission to a recognized and fully accredited post-secondary institution, i.e. university, community college, or specialized school. Recent high school graduates and women making career plans in their later years will be considered on an equal basis. Awards will be made without regard to career, age, race, or national origin.
