Before joining NYAPC as a Pastoral Associate, Linda was Stated Supply Pastor to Second Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale, FL. She currently serves on the boards of Yale Divinity School, Communities in Schools, Tony Blair’s Faith Foundation, Spoleto USA, and International Relief and Development. She received her M.Div. from Yale Divinity School and is currently pursuing a D.Min. in the Leadership Track at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.
From 1993-1997 Linda advised President Clinton and the White House on public policy and personal issues pertaining to religion and faith. Previously she coordinated the National Prayer Breakfast, organized women’s retreats and conferences and worked in lay ministry. She and her husband, Ambassador Philip Lader, have two adult daughters, and together they co-founded and continue to host Renaissance Weekends, 5-day family retreats for leaders from all walks of life.
