Deaconesses

The Board of Deaconesses ministers to members and friends of the congregation through visits, calls and outreach to those ill or bereaved. They carry the love of the Church to those who are homebound, in retirement homes, assisted living or health care centers and to others in need of special care. They provide support for and attend funeral and memorial services. The Board is responsible for church receptions after funeral or memorial services, on occasions honoring pastors and at other times as requested by the Session. They prepare Communion for all church services and for the homebound as requested by the Session and the Pastors.
